American Marketing Association

The American Marketing Association promotes networking activities that allow students the opportunity to meet marketing professionals and faculty. AMA hosts fun social events where students meet others with similar interests and professional goals. Additionally, they offer many opportunities for students to develop leadership and communication skills, marketing experience, and character. The Illinois State University Student Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) was awarded the International Chapter of the Year in 2004 and received the Midwest Chapter of the Year in 2005 and 2007! ISU has won the International Chapter of the Year award more times than any other chapter in the world!

Pi Sigma Epsilon (Co-ed Professional Marketing/Sales Fraternity)

Pi Sigma Epsilon is a coed national business fraternity that focuses on sales and marketing, but it is open to all majors. PSE offers many benefits to its members including enhancing communication skills, opening doors to networking with business professionals, promoting business competitiveness, and building lasting friendships. Pi Sigma Epsilon balances social activities along with the importance of academics. Based on the annual performance report of all chapters in the nation, the Illinois State Delta Omega Chapter currently ranks 2nd in total points.

The Sports Marketing Student Association provides students interested in sports related marketing or management careers the opportunity to begin networking and learning more about job opportunities in the world of athletics. This organization sponsors speakers and social activities that help students expand their knowledge of sports marketing and management.

Pi Omega Pi (Business Teacher Education Honorary Society)

Pi Omega Pi is the National Business Education Honor Society. It creates fellowship among teachers of business subjects; creates and encourages interest and promotes scholarship in Business Education; encourages civic responsibility; and fosters high ethical standards in the business and professional life of its members. The chapter participates in an annual competition that consists of submitting three projects that provide contributions to business education at the national, local, and state levels. POP also participates in the National Business Education Association and the Illinois Business Education Association annual conferences.
