Alpha Kappa Psi

Alpha Kappa Psi stands as the oldest and largest professional business fraternity in the nation. Founded in 1904, Alpha Kappa Psi has developed more than 250,000 men and women worldwide. We have active chapters at more than 200 colleges and universities in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Our alumni include former U.S. Presidents Nixon and Reagan, U.S. congressmen, plus founders and executives of many Fortune 500 companies like State Farm chairman and CEO, Edward Rust Jr.

As our vision states, Alpha Kappa Psi is recognized as the premier developer of principled business leaders. Alpha Kappa Psi provides outstanding leadership opportunities and the model environment for the development of young professionals committed to the field of business. Beta Gamma Sigma

Beta Gamma Sigma is the national scholastic honor society in the field of business administration recognized by AACSB International -– The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. A formal induction ceremony is held each spring to recognize the scholastic achievements of individual students. To be eligible for membership, students' academic rankings must place them in the upper 10 percent of the junior class, upper 10 percent of the senior class, or upper 20 percent of the graduate/master class. The ISU Chapter was named an exemplary chapter in 2006 and 2007.

Business Week

Since the mid-1970's the College of Business at Illinois State University has annually sponsored Business Week. It brings corporate and industry leaders to campus to speak on important issues, trends, and developments that affect American Business. The goal of Business Week is to help students better understand the skills they will need for success in a dynamic and constantly changing business environment.

Delta Sigma Pi

Delta Sigma Pi (Co-ed Professional Business Fraternity)

Delta Sigma Pi is a coed professional business fraternity that provides extensive professional, community service, fundraising, and social programs. Students have the opportunity to obtain a great reputation with the community, campus and professional industry, while making some of the greatest friends one will ever have. DSP believes in success and continued education. This is a highly involved and very interactive organization. All business and economic majors that have at least 3 semesters remaining and at least a 2.5 GPA are eligible for membership. Delta Sigma Pi was named the 2005-2006 ISU Student Organization of the Year.
