The College of Business at Illinois State University offers bachelor’s degree programs in accountancy, business administration, business information systems, business teacher education, finance, insurance, international business, management, and marketing. A special integrated Bachelor of Science/Master of Professional Accountancy program is also available.
Students are limited to 24 credit hours in business until they have successfully completed the College of Business Standards for Progress in the Major. These standards represent the minimum standards for a student to continue as a business major. Through a competitive and selective process, students are evaluated for continuance from a pool of qualified applicants on the basis of individual qualifications. The number of students who continue in a program may vary from year to year depending on program capacity and the qualifications of students in the pool.
