People Profiles
The foundation of the Professional Sales Institute is the people who comprise it and make possible the varied activities and learning opportunities. These people include our alumni, faculty members, current students and corporate partners. This dynamic, enthusiastic and highly-committed group continues to grow and provides a unique set of advantages and benefits that can only come from this combination of students-faculty-and business professionals interacting and working together.
Alumni
In addition to providing support for Institute programs, sales student alumni play an important active role in the continuing activities of the Institute. Sales graduates serve as role models for current students and also provide career information to students based on their own career achievements. They also serve as official mentors related to specific courses and projects, and provide invaluable points of contact into companies and industries for students looking to begin their career.
Faculty
What began as a combination of two sales classes taught by two sales faculty members in 1991 has grown to a comprehensive offering of nine sales courses taught by a cadre of eight PhD qualified faculty members—each with extensive, real-world work experience. This number of experienced and PhD-degreed faculty is unmatched by any other university sales program and provides a tangible and distinct advantage for sales students and business partners.
Students
Students in the sales program are the real products of the Institute. They are actively involved in their own learning experiences and know the more they put in, the more they will get out. Students take pride in their performance and are accountable for the success of the Institute through their achievements. These students are indeed the sales stars and leaders of tomorrow.
