I just wanted to write and thank you for turning me on to the real profession of personal selling. At the beginning of my first sales class, I was a senior and had no idea what I wanted to do.
The sales classes really challenged me and required a lot of work – but they also pointed me toward the career I love and set me up to succeed by teaching me the true art and skills of consultative selling. Reading about management and marketing in textbooks is one thing but actually getting outside the classroom and doing it is totally different. You better be committed to study and work hard if you take this class but it´s all worth it.
I completed a double major in Finance & Marketing and out of all the classes I took while in school at ISU, this sales class was not only the most personally challenging, but it was also the best class I had during my five years of college.”
