Profile:

Keith Dutton received a Master of Science degree in Human Resources Management from Wilmington University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Excelsior College.

Keith teaches Business Enterprise and Business Organization and Management courses.  He has been an adjunct faculty member at the Eastern Virginia Medical School, Tidewater Community College, Flagler College, Tallahassee Community College, and Lincoln College-Normal, teaching business, finance, human resources, and healthcare courses.

His management, leadership, and business experience includes over 20 years as a healthcare director, CEO, senior state administrator, and corporate HR business partner.  He has earned national recognition and state-wide awards for his leadership, business practices, creative service delivery, and public education.  He is a graduate of the Weinberg Institute's Problem-Solving Leadership program, has attended the Institute of HeathMath's Inner Quality Management program, and has received advanced training in team development and facilitation.  Keith has presented at over 40 regional and state conferences and previously wrote a monthly management column for a web-based public safety journal.

Keith is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources, and is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management and the local chapter, the Bloomington-Normal Human Resources Council.  He owns a management consulting firm that focuses on development of key management and leadership traits to increase teamwork, customer satisfaction, and organizational effectiveness in the for-profit, not-for-profit, and governmental work environments.
