Profile:

Dr. Choudhury teaches in the areas of business statistics, quantitative methods and operations management. His research interests include prediction modeling, time series analysis, co-integration analysis, statistical analysis on business failures and portfolio diversification, development of statistical methodology for assessing health effects of preventive interventions and environmental exposures (PM10). He has published numerous articles in referred journals including Journal of Econometrics, Communications in Statistics, Journal of Statistical Computation and Simulation, Economics Letters, Canadian Journal of Economics, Journal of the Academy of Finance, Academy of Accounting and Financial Studies Journal, Marketing Research, Archives of Environmental Health, and Journal of Applied Business Research. He has been a Visiting Scholar at the Graduate School of Business, University of Chicago. He received the College of Business (ISU) Research Award in 2005.

Dr. Choudhury has served on organizing committees of many national and international conferences. He was Program Co-Chair for the MSMESB (Making Statistics More Effective in Schools and Business) national conference in 1996. He has obtained several external research grants.
