Business Plan Competition

Business Plan Competition

Upper level Entrepreneurship majors compete in the annual Business Plan Competition.

Held each December, the Business Plan Competition offers students the opportunity to submit and present a business plan to a panel of local entrepreneurs, business owners and financial representatives from the Bloomington-Normal area.

The primary aim for the competition is to provide students, business leaders, and potential investors the opportunity to present and preview new venture opportunities. The competition highlights entrepreneurship education as a springboard for new ventures.

Participants are awarded cash prizes. The first place winner also receives an entry into the Ball State University Business Plan Competition.

Factors the judges consider are market attractiveness, competitive advantage, strength of management, implementation plan, and economic value.
