Profile:

Han Bin Kang's teaching and professional interests are in insurance, real estate and corporate finance. Dr. Kang's recent research includes turnover of salespersons in life insurance, service quality in automobile insurance, insurance fraud, insurance redlining, insurance marketing systems, open competition law and insurance premium comparisons, economy of scale and underwriting profit cycles in the property and casualty insurance.

Kang has published research articles in the Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Insurance Issues, Journal of International Insurance, CPCU Journal, Southern Business Review Journal of American Real Estate, Urban Economics Association (AREURA), Journal of Real Estate Research, Journal of Business and Behavioral Science, Midwest Review of Finance and Insurance, and Money, Banking and Insurance (in Germany). He has received reserach awards and grants from the Katie Insurance School, the College of Business and University. He is a member of the American Risk and Insurance Association and the American Real Estate Society.
