Profile:

James R. Jones began in mid-November 2001 as Director of the Katie Insurance School in the College of Business at Illinois State University. In this position, Jones will develop and nurture partnerships between academia and business to increase opportunities for students and professionals in the insurance and financial services industry.

Jones holds an MBA from St. Louis University. He is the editor of "The Principles of Workers Compensation" (1999) and Liability Claim Practices" (2001), and the author of textbooks as well as several research articles. Before joining the Katie Insurance School, Jones was Director of Claims Education and Director of the Center for Performance Improvement and Innovation at the Insurance Institute of America.
