Elizabeth Binning (ISBDC), was named as one of the top 20 community leaders under the age of 40 by The Pantagraph.
Carson Varner (FIL), Katrin Varner (FIL) and Karen Hosack (FIL) presented their paper “Pitfalls of Private Communication for American Corporate Employees” at The Association for Business Communication, International Convention held in San Antonio in October.
Matthew Sheep (MQM) published “Nurturing the Whole Person: The Ethics of Workplace Spirituality in a Society of Organizations in the Journal of Business Ethics, 66(4): 357-375. He co-authored two articles with G.E. Kreiner and E.C. Hollensbe, “Where is the ‘Me’ Among the ‘We’? Identity Work and the Search for Optimal Balance,” Academy of Management Journal, 49(5): 1031-1057 and “On the Edge of Identity: Boundary Dynamics at the Interface of Individual and Organization Identities in Human Relations.” Human Relations.
Martin, R., J. S. Rich (ACC), and T. J. Wilks. 2006. “Auditing Fair Value Measurements: A Synthesis and Review of Relevant Research.” Accounting Horizons 23 (September): 287-303.
Jack Howard (MQM) published “Small Business Growth: Expansion of the Workforce” in the Academy of Entrepreneurship Journal, volume 12, 2006. He also presented “Marital Status Discrimination: Avenues for Redress at the Association on Employment Practices and Principles International Conference in New York, NY. The paper was published in the proceedings associated with the conference.
Business Week continues to grow and improve with each passing year. This fall all officer positions were carefully reviewed and new roles were created to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the planning efforts.
