The Fall Employment and Internship Career Fair will be held on Tuesday, September 19 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Bone Student Center. The event is sponsored by the Career Center and provides employers with an opportunity to network with current students and alumni from both Illinois State University and Illinois Wesleyan University who are pursuing full-time career or internship opportunities. Most employers are large corporations, but smaller firms, local and state government agencies and other organizations are also scheduled to participate in the event. Interviews will be conducted by employers from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. with select candidates met during the fair. For more information visit http://www.careercenter.ilstu.edu.
Monday, October 2
The Integrated Marketing Communications Career Night is scheduled for Monday, October 2nd from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in COB 357. A panel of industry professionals, including several COB marketing alums, will describe their respective career paths and respond to questions from students and faculty related to job prospects and industry trends. Students and industry professionals can make connections at the Professional Sales Career Fair & Networking Reception scheduled for Wednesday, October 11th from 4:00 to 7 p.m. at BSC. The event will provide the formality of a traditional career fair as well as an informal opportunity where company representatives can socialize with candidates.
