COB Recruiting Efforts

     The COB has implemented a new computerized review for our “Standards for Progress in the Major.” This makes the continuance process more student-friendly and less paper/labor intensive. Other findings include the following:

• The average ACT score in the COB increased from 23.7 to 23.93 and 74% of the students had an ACT score between 22 and 27, compared to the University percentage of 66.7%.
• Students of color declined in our freshmen class from 13.7% to 9.8% but our total minority enrollment for the College remained stable at 10.6%.
• Transfer student enrollment grew by 11.8% this year, with an increase in average GPA from 3.08 to 3.15. Students of color remained constant at 8.6%.
