Purpose:
The Country Insurance & Financial Services Faculty Scholars Program is designed to fund applied research for Associate and Full Professors in the College of Business.
The Award Amount
The award amount will vary depending on the term of the project. The award amount is $7,000 annually. Two-year projects are encouraged. In lieu of a two-year project, a proposal for a one year project may also be submitted.
Joint proposals are also permitted. The maximum total award for a joint proposal is $14,000. Joint proposals will be viewed favorably, as they indicate the potential for combined expertise and multiple project benefits. Recipients of Katie School Research Grants or University Research Grants for the same or related proposal should contact the Katie School Director or COB Research Director (as appropriate) to determine the extent of any monetary offset that would be applied for this program award.
Any proposals submitted for the Country Insurance & Financial Services Faculty Scholars program that are not supported by the program, will automatically be placed into consideration for a Katie School Faculty Development or Research Award.
