Faculty / Staff offices were designed to be ergonomic and efficient with additional seating for at least two students in each office. Every faculty/staff office has access to natural light from either the atrium, courtyard, or exterior of the building.
Faculty / Staff offices have been designed to facilitate both the individual work of the faculty or staff member in performing his or her roles of teaching, research, administration, and community service. The offices also provide an environment conducive to working with colleagues and students. Finally these offices provide adequate storage space for journals, books, publications, and files to support these efforts.
Faculty and staff computers in the college are carefully rotated and replaced so that only recent and new systems are in use. In addition, offices are equipped with high-speed network connections, flat-panel screens, unlimited network storage, and convenient printers. Software appropriate to the faculty's particular discipline may include statistical, simulation, programming and database resources. In addition, the college is transitioning to Windows 7 during the course of 2010/11.
