The College of Business building embraces the best features of the nation's most prominent business schools, one of which is an overall design of varied high-tech classrooms to accommodate different teaching methods.
The vast majority of classrooms have about 40 seats to support our goal of small class sizes allowing faculty to offer individualized attention to students.
Models of classrooms include the Tiered Deep U 40 seat, Flat Flexible 40 seat, Flat Fixed 37 seat, Tiered Wide U 43 seat, Large Tiered 100 seat, and the Auditorium which seats 200 students.
Classroom instructional technology support includes:
- Height adjustable podiums
- Touch panel control and annotation capability
- Built in help support and security
- Same software as student workstations
- High resolution – 4000 lumen projection unit
- High quality document camera
- DVD/VCR support
- Enhanced ALS sound system
- Laptop support for guest speakers with networking
Additionally, each student seat in the classrooms is equipped with both a network jack and a power outlet to facilitate laptop use in classrooms. This is supplemented by wireless technology.
