The Educational Investment Fund portfolio is managed with objectives that support its educational mission. Returns provide funding for student scholarships each year; occasional purchases of technology to support student research and analysis; and faculty travel, education, and training directly or indirectly related to the EIF curriculum.

The portfolio managers seek to maintain the purchasing power of the principal and provide modest, inflation-adjusted growth of principal.
