Prospective Managers: Applying for the EIF Program
Educational Investment Fund HOME
As one of the oldest student-managed portfolios in the nation, the EIF is an established program with a proven track record of educating talented students and preparing them for successful careers. The FIL Department and the EIF Board of Directors have identified strategies for continuing to strengthen and improve the program, but these will be achieved only with additional resources and partnerships.
Technology Needs
This is an opportune time to support the EIF with funds that will enhance the professional opportunities of students and assure access to the latest in technology resources. The Financial Markets Lab, home to the EIF program, needs state-of-the-art equipment and databases, all of which require significant financial investments each year. Maintaining these resources relies on the contributions of alumni and friends of the college.
Student Scholarships and Awards
The EIF program also can provide unique professional development opportunities for students. Using EIF scholarships and awards, students can offset the costs of the CFA Level I exam, afford to spend time with mentors or attend professional industry programs.
Your support is needed to further leverage the impact of the program on the business world and on the personal and professional lives of our students. In addition to cash gifts, some EIF alumni have supported the program through transfer of securities. We invite you to join us in redefining the future of the EIF program by making an online gift now. To learn about other ways to give, please contact Norris Porter, director of development, College of Business.
Naming Opportunities
Other alumni have chosen to have their support recognized through the naming of rooms in the new College of Business Building. The home for the college now embraces the best features of the nation's most prominent business schools, while retaining the spirit of personalized, student-centered education that is the hallmark of Illinois State University.
