Profile:

Nancy Kerns joined the university in 2000 at Classroom Technology Support Services. In 2001, she joined the Faculty Resource Center staff located in the College of Business specializing in desktop publishing, graphic design, publication preparation, editing, and proofreading.

Kerns works with the COB faculty, staff, student representatives, and departments to design and produce black and white and color print materials that promote, publicize, and support COB activities from academic classrooms to seminars/conferences, from recruitment to publicity, from original manuscripts/articles to publications.

Kerns brings 20 years of real world experience in graphic design, illustration, editing, copywriting, publicity, and art in education. She was co-founder of the Art Discovery Program used in District 87 schools, the Artist in Residence Program at Johns Hill Magnet in Decatur, and is active in home education
