In October 2008, the College of Business is presented its first Early Career Achievement Awards (ECAA) to fifteen truly outstanding young alumni who have experienced significant professional success.  The award celebrates outstanding young alumni who have demonstrated innovative and responsible professional leadership and the potential for future distinction.

Nominations for Early Career Achievement Awards are accepted April 15 through June 15 each year by completing an Early Career Achievement Awards nomination form. Should you prefer to complete a nomination outside that period, please send the information directly to:

Nomination Guidelines for Early Career Achievement Award

Qualification Guidelines

  • Graduate from one of the programs in the ISU College of Business
  • Be 35 years of age or younger.

Career Accomplishments

  • Achieved rapid promotions, awards, and recognitions in his or her chosen profession.
  • Demonstrated innovative and responsible professional leadership and the potential for distinction in the long term.

Personal Characteristics

  • Embodies the five core principals outlined in the College of Business Standards of Professional Behavior and Ethical Conduct: responsibility, honesty, respect, fairness and trust.
  • Shown a substantial commitment to the service of others.
  • Continued his or her professional growth through education or professional credentials.

  • Attach a resume and a letter of recommendation that illustrates how the nominee embodies the career and personal characteristics outlined above.
