Department Tutoring

Many College of Business departments offer tutoring help to students enrolled in their courses. Please check with each department for information or check the bulletin board outside of the COB Advisement Center for tutoring availability and locations.

University Center for Learning Assistance (UCLA)

The UCLA is a component of Illinois State’s University College. It offers help in mastering course content and in acquiring study skills. In keeping with Center philosophy, students who use the services of the Center are challenged to become actively involved in their own learning.

The Center takes a holistic approach to learning, helping students to appreciate their strengths and recognize their weaknesses. Staffed by undergraduate students, graduate students, and professionals, the Center provides flexible forms of assistance, including one-to-one tutoring, small group tutoring, group study sessions, and learning skills seminars.

Both students who want to ensure their A’s as well as those who find themselves in academic trouble take advantage of Center services. All are welcome!
