How do I prepare for registration?

First, plan ahead. Be sure to do long term planning with your academic advisor prior to advance registration. Next, register on time. Know when your registration time is and be sure to take care of any delinquencies before registration begins.

Check the Academic Calendar for Advance Registration dates and login to the iCampus Portal for your registration date and time.

When do I register?

Advance Registration generally begins mid-semester, however; students are assigned a specific registration date. Registration dates are based upon number of hours completed, as well as involvement in Athletics, the University Honors Program, and other factors.

Assigned registration dates and times are sent to students through the iCampus portal. If you did not receive notification, please contact the Registrar's office and they will be happy to assist you.

What are my options for registering?

To register at Illinois State University students use the campus portal, iCampus.
