Profile:

Dr. Keith Jones has taught in the areas of cost/managerial accounting and auditing.  Prior to joining Illinois State University in 2005, Dr. Jones taught at Eastern Kentucky University, Ball State University and the University of Kentucky, where he received his doctoral degree in 2001.  He worked for over 10 years as an auditor for the Department of Defense prior to entering his doctoral program.

His research interests are in judgment and decision making, primarily related to managerial accounting, auditing, and issues related to perceptions of accounting held by various stakeholders.  He has presented his research at numerous regional, national and international conferences. 

He has published papers in Accounting and the Public Interest, Advances in Management Accounting, Advances in Accounting Education, Management Accounting Quarterly, Managerial Auditing Journal, The Journal of Educators Online, The CPA Journal, and New Accountant.
